IECD, Ivory Coast, DRC, Congo-Brazzaville and Cameroon
The Puma Energy Foundation is pleased to partner with the European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD), to improve the living conditions and prospects of micro- and small entrepreneurs in the Ivory Coast, DRC, Congo-Brazzaville and Cameroon.
In the region, very small businesses account for 75% of jobs, so it is essential that these structures flourish and overcome their main stumbling block to growth, namely a lack of management skills.
Where they work
Thanks to the IECD’s tailor-made basic management training programme and follow-up courses in marketing, finance and IT, 1,329 beneficiaries improved their managerial and business skills in 2013.
That’s close to 4,000 entrepreneurs trained over the past three years.
By removing the barriers to better business, these small enterprises can continue making big contributions to the local economy.Visit Website
